Dr. Justin and I had thought the same thing when we had heard about the HcG diet. Then our good friend and colleague, Dr. Nancy Lins, told us all about her success with this diet in her practice and on her husband Lee. We were surprised. We both went on the diet at the beginning of the year and were amazed. I had some severe heel pain at the end of the year last year, and could not walk with regular shoes and it hurt while sleeping. In the last paragraph of Dr. Simmeons manuscript it describes heel pain as caused by losing the protective fat from the heel pad from other dieting (which I had been doing). He said that with the HcG diet he notices the heel pain going away in 10-20 days. At day 15, I was pain free and shocked. I really do believe there is some truth to this diet. Justin and I have not felt so good and been so lean since 14 yo and after high school, respectively.
We wanted to try it before recommending it, and we are believers now. Also, while on the diet, we were taking the homeopathic version of the HcG. We had been losing weight and not feeling very hungry. Then we travelled to AZ and had the HcG go through X-rays at the airport, I didn't realize it was antidoted until later that week, I was starving! My stomach was growling so loudly and I was having hunger pangs. It made me realize how effective the HcG was.
