Dr. Buffy Binder ND

Picture
Dr. Binder has been fortunate to be the daughter of parents both involved in natural health for over 50 years. Her father is a Naturopathic Physician, Chiropractor and Acupuncturist while her mother taught macrobiotic cooking classes. She was raised on such culinary delights as burdock hot dogs and aduki bean pie. Earaches and colds were treated with alternating hot and cold baths and herbal concoctions. Dr. Binder is one of the few people in America without a childhood cavity, never vaccinated nor took an antibitotic. She never stepped into a medical doctors office until she broke her hand and needed a cast at 13 years old. This has given her a full understanding from a unique, personal experience how natural living impacts health and development.

As a young adult, Dr.Binder completed her undergraduate education at the University of Montana with a B.A. in Psychology. She felt that to truly help people, they still needed the foundations of natural health treatments from natural medicine and decided to continue her education as a Naturopathic Physician.
Dr. Binder graduated in 2000 from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Binder treats all disorders from the basic guidelines of naturopathic medicine (remove the obstacles to cure, support the body in its innate healing ability), and has special interest in nutrition, hormonal imbalances, and women's health.
